Having someone on your side shouldn’t be unusual.

Buying a property in another country comes with questions you may not even know you need to ask.

That’s why we start with you.

We take the time to understand your life, your family, your plans and what you’re really looking for, before we start looking for properties.

Then we guide you through everything in between: where to look, what to avoid, who to trust, what questions to ask, when to negotiate, and sometimes, when to walk away.

Because our job isn’t to sell you a property. It’s to help you make the right decision.

The right property is about more than the property.

A beautiful house in a great location can still be the wrong purchase.

Price is only part of the picture. What about the condition of the property? The legal details? The real renovation costs? The neighbourhood outside the holiday season? The resale potential? And whether it really fits the life you came to Portugal to create?

Some of what matters is easy to see. Much of it isn’t.

That’s where we do some of our most important work, looking beyond the listing, asking the questions you may not know to ask, and helping you see the whole picture before you make a decision.

Because finding a property is only the visible part of the journey.

What happens beneath the surface is what helps turn the right property into the right decision.

Most of the work is invisible.
That is exactly where the value is.

By the time you are ready to make an offer, the important questions should already have been answered.

“Buying a property is one of the biggest financial decisions most of us will ever make. And yet buyers are often expected to rely on advice from someone whose job is to sell them something.

Think about it: if you walked into a car dealership, would you expect the salesperson to tell you that the car across the road is actually better for you?

Probably not.

That’s why I believe buyers deserve someone whose only job is to look out for them.”

How to Choose Where to Live in Portugal, Beyond the Holiday Experience

Are you at the beginning of your journey? Start here.

Buying in Portugal comes with a lot of questions. Our Buyer’s Guide gives you a clear place to start, with practical information and useful checklists to help you understand what comes next and prepare at your own pace.

No jargon. No sales pitch. Just useful information to help you buy with more confidence.

We’ll send the guide straight to your inbox.

Questions we get asked.

Estate agents can be extremely helpful to buyers, but they are appointed to sell property.

We are appointed by you.

That means we can search across different agencies, question what we’re being told, challenge the asking price, negotiate on your behalf and tell you when we think you should walk away.

The difference isn’t whether someone helps you. It’s whose interests they’re there to protect.

Yes.

If you’ve already found the property, you may not need our Full Buyer Representation service.

We can step in before you make an offer to assess the property and pricing, shape the negotiation strategy, negotiate on your behalf and help you move into the purchase with the right checks and professionals in place.

We’ll tell you.

Our job isn’t to make a transaction happen. It’s to help you make the right decision.

If something doesn’t add up, we’ll explain why. Sometimes that means investigating further or renegotiating. And sometimes it means walking away.

We’d rather lose a property than see you buy the wrong one.

For full buyer representation, our fee combines an engagement fee and a success fee. For negotiation and purchase support, the fee depends on the scope.

Everything is explained clearly before we begin. Most importantly, you appoint us and you are our client.

Absolutely.

You don’t need to arrive with the perfect brief, know exactly where you want to buy or have found a property.

The first conversation is free and informal. Tell us where you are and what you’re considering, and we’ll help you understand what might make sense from there.
