Act as your guide
Falling in love with a new lifestyle and environment is natural, but it's essential to understand the differences in working culture, rules and regulations, pace of work, and the legal system before making a move. This is where we can help. We aim to ensure that your exciting journey doesn't turn into a headache. We provide you with information on the local real estate market, legal system, bureaucracy, working culture, and work pace. Think of us as your personal "Google search" resource. We are here to share our expertise, resources, and knowledge to empower you and help you make confident decisions based on all the facts.
-
Research on your behalf
Part of our job involves scouting the market for you. We understand that you will spend some of your evenings researching on your own, and we can provide quick feedback on the properties you’ve chosen, saving you time and trouble. We also have access to off-market listings through our network.
-
Coordinate Viewings
Once you are in Portugal, your itinerary will be organised so you can simply show up and enjoy.
-
Assess the options and your brief
It is crucial to debrief after visits to evaluate if we are on the right track or if we need to change course. By visiting properties, we can refine your criteria, whether it’s the type of property, re-evaluating your budget, or gaining a better understanding of the lifestyle you are looking for. We analyse an asset from an investment standpoint and can provide a fair assessment of its market value.
-
Conduct the negotiations
Once we have found the property you wish to purchase, we will act as your advisor and negotiator and will put together a compelling offer to secure it for you.

Manage the deal
This is one of the most important, yet often overlooked aspects of the process. There is a great deal of work to coordinate among different parties. Managing communications between the sellers, the lawyers, the mortgage broker/banks, the surveyor, and yourself is time-consuming. In our line of work, it is important to keep everyone informed and to keep the deal moving along, as no news is not good news. Sales can fall through at this stage due to one party or the other becoming frustrated with the lack of progress or communication.
