Another real estate agency?

We didn’t think Portugal needed another real estate agency...

…but we saw a real gap in the market, whereby buyers could get genuine independent representation, advisory and support and make the searching and buying process as stress-free and as risk-free as possible.

Buying in a foreign country can be both exhilarating and frightening. The Portuguese market is set in a way, whereby buyers do not have anyone to act on their behalf. Instead, real estate agencies are mandated by the sellers, so there is an argument to say that the agent is working for the seller. Add to this a different ecosystem, a different language, no network to rely on and the general opacity of the market, and this can quickly become a daunting situation.

Another real estate agency?

We didn’t think the Algarve needed another real estate agency...

The Journey

Finding the right property is a journey, and often, without a pre-determined destination. We undertake a journey of exploration to see what will best suit each and every client. Time and time again, our clients have arrived at a very different destination, be that purchasing a home in a different location or a different type of property. Because we take the time to understand our clients, we are able to help them make an informed decision. We love to think creatively and explore all options to allow the magic to happen.

You mandate us and pay us a retainer to accompany you on this journey and act as your representative in the market.

We get to know you, your ambitions and objectives, and help shape and define them. We scour the market on your behalf and draw up a list of viable options in preparation for your visits. We negotiate according to your tailored needs and guide you through the buying process until completion.

Having lived and worked in Portugal for many years, we have selected partners we like to recommend, solely based on their ability to perform, and we will be delighted to share our network with you.

We scout the market on your behalf, and draw up a short list of properties that we have personally seen and approved, together with a tour plan for your visit. We negotiate with your best interests in mind and walk you through the buying process until completion. Having lived and worked in Portugal for many years, we have selected partners we like to recommend, solely based on their ability to perform, and we will be delighted to share our network with you.
